Try the easiest (and best!) avocado toast recipe!

What’s your favorite breakfast food?! Personally, I love avocado toast (as cliché as it may sound, since I know everyone says they love it). You just can’t beat it though — it’s simple, delicious, and healthy, depending on how you make it.

You may have seen my recent Instagram post (@mdopenbook), where I provide the ingredients to my favorite, simple recipe. In case you missed it, you can check out the list below. :) Keep in mind, this is just a quick way to make it, you can always add more to it like eggs, pickled onion, spinach, you name it!

Ingredients:

1. One @thomasbreakfast whole wheat English muffin (only 100cals and 8g of fiber!) toasted.
2. Use one @eatwholly smashed avocado cup (nothing added, the plain smashed cups). 🥑 *You can also use one fresh avocado, cut it in a bowl, add some lemon juice, add a pinch cayenne pepper, put in a little mayo (optional, depending if you want it a little thicker), and mix it up for a great mash!
3. Add @montchevre goat cheese crumbles. 🐐
4. Top it off with @traderjoes balsamic glaze.
